Iran vocalist drops for 'The Woodpecker'

Iranian vocalist Mohammad Motamedi drops new song for 'The Woodpecker'.

Motamedi published a new track and music video for Behrouz Shoeibi’s flick.

This is the second cooperation between Motamedi and Shoeibi after Shoeibi's previous film ‘Cyanide’.

“There is nothing harder in life than seeing someone you love decide to be alone. You enjoy seeing her and hearing her voice, but she closed the doors and chooses loneliness in your place ... There is nothing harder in life than being left alone. You see your loved ones and you love them, but they all deny you. They closed doors on you and you are alone. Loneliness is a swamp,” a synopsis for the film read.

‘The Woodpecker’ has notable Iranian stars such as Mahnaz Afshar, Jamshid Hashempour, Sara Bahrami, Hadi Hejazifar, Negar Abedi, and Amin Hayaee in the cast.

Born in 1978, Motamedi performed several concerts in Iran and some other countries that were warmly received.

He has performed in art and culture venues in Paris and Italy.

Motamedi participated in International Festival of Sufi Music in Karachi, Pakistan and also received the 2013 France Musique World Music Award.
